Terms of Service

1) Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time in our sole discretion. When we do, we will post the updated Terms and update the “Last updated” date above. Changes are effective when posted unless stated otherwise. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree, you must stop using the Services.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence (or have parent/guardian consent) to use the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3) Acceptable Use

You agree not to, and not to enable or permit others to, do any of the following:

• Copy, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, or distribute the Services or any content therein, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying ideas of the Services, except to the limited extent allowed by applicable law.
• Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
• Access the Services using any automated means (e.g., scraping, bots, spiders) without our prior written permission; harvest data from the Services; or circumvent rate limits or technical protections.
• Upload, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, abusive, hateful, deceptive, fraudulent, or that violates privacy or publicity rights.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services or related systems or networks.
• Use the Services in violation of applicable laws or regulations, including intellectual property, privacy, and data protection laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts, systems, or networks related to the Services.

4) Your Content

You may submit or upload content (e.g., league names, images, settings, text) through the Services (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and otherwise use your User Content solely to operate and improve the Services and to provide features you request (e.g., sharing within your league). You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.

We may remove or disable access to User Content that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

5) Intellectual Property

The Services, including all content, features, software, designs, look and feel, and documentation, are owned by or licensed to League Legacy and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Services. This is a license and not a transfer of title; it terminates automatically if you breach these Terms.

“League Legacy” and related marks are trademarks of Fantasy Things, LLC. All other trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners.

6) Third-Party Services, Links & Data Sources

The Services may reference or link to third-party websites, products, APIs, or services (collectively, “Third-Party Services”). We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for Third-Party Services. Your use of Third-Party Services is at your own risk and may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

Statistics, schedules, or other data presented by the Services may originate from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. We make no guarantees regarding accuracy or timeliness.

7) Privacy

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information. Please review it carefully.

8) Subscriptions, Trials & Payments

Certain features may require a paid subscription or purchase. Prices and features may change from time to time. If you enroll in a subscription, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price. You can cancel future renewals in your account or by contacting support before the renewal date. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

We may offer trials or promotional pricing. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, you authorize charges at the then-current rate.

9) Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY CONTENT OR DATA.

10) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL LEAGUE LEGACY OR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION), ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US, IF ANY, FOR THE SERVICES GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations; to that extent, the above may not apply to you.

11) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the integrity, security, or operation of the Services. Upon termination, your rights under these Terms will immediately cease and you must stop using the Services. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law).

12) Third-Party Trademarks & No Affiliation

League Legacy and Fantasy Things, LLC are not connected, associated, endorsed, or authorized by the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, WNBA, or any other professional league or team. All trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners. Use of such names is for identification only and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

13) No Gambling

League Legacy is not an online sports betting or gambling operator and does not offer gambling, wagering, or sports betting services of any kind.

14) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Texas, and you waive any objection to jurisdiction, venue, or forum non conveniens.

15) Miscellaneous

• Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with any policies referenced herein (including the Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements.
• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
• No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without notice, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Headings. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
• Export. You agree to comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws.
