Privacy Policy

Last Updated:

Our commitment: Your data belongs to you. We will never sell your personal data. This policy applies to our web platform and our mobile apps (iOS and Android).

1. Scope & Applicability

This Privacy Policy explains how League Legacy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you use our websites, products, services, and mobile applications (collectively, the “Services”).

2. Information We Collect & Why

2.1 Identity & Access

When you create an account, we collect name and email address to create and secure your account, personalize your experience, and send essential service communications. If you choose, you may also upload a profile image. We will not use your name, brand, or content in marketing without your permission.

2.2 Billing

For paid features, payments are processed by our payment processor. We do not store full card details on our servers. We retain limited billing metadata (e.g., last four digits, billing address, transaction identifiers) for accounting, fraud prevention, customer support, and legal compliance.

2.3 Content & Product Usage

We store the content you upload or generate within the Services (e.g., league data, settings). This enables core functionality, synchronization across devices, troubleshooting, and support. If you delete your account, we schedule your content for deletion within 60 days (see Security & Data Retention).

2.4 Network, Geolocation (Approximate) & IP

We log IP addresses and related network information to maintain security, prevent fraud and spam, and provide reliable service. Approximate location may be inferred from IP to localize experiences (e.g., language/time zone) and for security.

2.5 Website Analytics, Cookies & Similar Technologies

We collect device/browser type, operating system, pages viewed, load times, and referring pages to improve performance and user experience. We use first-party cookies (and where compliant, limited third-party cookies) for authentication, preferences, analytics, and, if applicable, advertising. You can modify cookie settings in your browser; some features may not function without essential cookies.

2.6 Voluntary Correspondence

If you contact support, respond to surveys, or participate in interviews or beta programs (with your consent), we collect the information you provide to respond, improve the Services, and maintain a support history.

3. Mobile App–Specific Data

3.1 Device & App Diagnostics

Our mobile apps may collect device type, OS version, app version, crash logs, and usage events to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.

3.2 Permissions & Contextual Disclosures

Certain features may request your permission (e.g., push notifications, location). We will request consent via native OS prompts and explain why the permission is needed. You can change permissions any time in your device settings.

3.3 In-App Access to This Policy

Links to this policy are available in the app’s settings or legal menu and in the app store listing. Where appropriate, we provide brief in-context notices for key privacy practices.

7. Security & Data Retention

7.1 Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure storage, and encrypted backups. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously work to protect your data.

7.2 Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Typical lifecycle for deleted content:

  • Trash/soft-delete: ~25 days (recoverable)
  • Post-trash: ~30 days (no user access)
  • Backups: up to ~30 additional days
  • Account deletion: user content is queued for purge and generally removed within 60 days

Timeframes are approximate and may vary for system integrity, disaster recovery, or legal reasons.

8. International Data Transfers

We operate primarily in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and other countries that may have data-protection laws different from those of your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved mechanisms to safeguard international transfers.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or an in-app notice and update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page before changes take effect.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are intended for individuals 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information in violation of this policy, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete such information.
